The Regional Assembly has welcomed today the presentation of Marchapanda 2011 and this should have had the presence of President of the Assembly, Francisco Celdran, the council of Sport and Education, and Josefa Alonso Gómez Marotta, President of the College of Licensed Physical Education in the Region of Murcia, Eduardo Armada, and the president of the ananda, event organizer, Dolores Sanchez.
The XX edition of Marchapanda take place on Sunday 10 April, leaving from the Town Hall Square at 10.30 am and the walk is about 9.5 miles to end at the Esplanade Mall Mandarache, where there will be musical performances, Parade by various troupes of the carnival, raffle gifts and free tasting of beverages, among other activities.
In the presentation have all agreed on the importance of such events, combining sport and solidarity and serve, even in times of crisis, to make clear the support of companies, organizations and institutions to the work of associations like ananda for people with a disability, hearing in this case.
During the ceremony held today, the Councillor for Education presents the 2011 lineup of Marchapanda selected from the 22 that have been submitted to MARCHAPANDA II Poster Contest 2011 for Secondary School Education Centres and Special Education of the municipality, all of only high school participant, Santa Joaquina de Vedruna.
The prize went to work with them all of the students of that school Begoña López and María Isabel Pedrero, prize sponsored by ananda consisting of 200 euros in paint material.
In addition, it has also given the award winning school, sponsored by the College of Physical Education Graduates of the Region of Murcia, which is 400 euros in sports equipment, plus a commemorative plaque.

The Department of Education has also contributed to the awareness campaign on Deafness Marchapanda '11, addressed students of the last cycle of primary education, with which you have visited 6 locations in which there have been several talks.
