The Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users of Cartagena on Monday handed over the appointment of members of honor of the councilors of Culture, Heritage Archaeological and Women, Maria del Rosario Montero, and Consumption, María Dolores García Nieto.

The event was held at the Museo del Teatro Romano, coinciding with the activities the association has organized on the occasion of International Women's Day.

At the same ceremony also honored with the title of a member of honor of Paloma Recio, a former director of the former Institute of Women of the Autonomous Region of Murcia

The event will close with a talk by the sculptor Maite Defruc, awarded the 2010 Prize, March 8, the Region of Murcia.
