The president of the Association of Family Therapists in the Region of Murcia, Ana Caparros, this morning visited the mayor to present the objectives of this Association which organizes the conference in April on Children and Family Intervention with the psychotherapist Valentín Escudero
The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, received this morning the visit of President of the Association of Family Therapists in the Region of Murcia (ATFRM), Ana Caparros.
During the meeting at the Palace Hall Caparros Ana Mayor has submitted to the work of the Association, which now has three years of operation.
As explained Ana Caparros, the main objective of the Association, that only works with the budget of the subscriptions of its members, is to approach the work with families and train professionals in this field.
Among other groups, the Association based in Cartagena is staffed by psychologists, social workers, educators, doctors and teachers.
The Association held Caparros Ana who chairs the coming days 1 and 2 April the Second Conference on Family Relations.
These days, under the theme "Children and Family Intervention treatment required, will be held in the auditorium of the Teatro Romano de Cartagena with a capacity limited to 80 people.
Days II Workshop on family relationships are of national scope and involve the participation of professionals from different parts of Spain and Tenerife.
The conference will be attended by Valentin Escudero, a psychotherapist specializing in family therapy process which has created a protocol for working with families and a tool to promote good relations between therapists and patients served, has indicated President of the Association hosting the Conference.
Teenagers are the group most reluctant to start treatment required, either by referral from social services or judicial requirements, as assured Ana Caparros them more efforts are intended to guide interventions.
