On Saturday 5 March in Cartagena celebrates the big day of Carnival 2011 Grand Parade with the participation of more than 4,000 people and be entertained by various attractions and shows throughout the tour.
The day will begin creating the environment in the center with the actions of jokes, from 12.00 hours in the streets of San Sebastian Icue and to make way for the afternoon parade.
At five in the afternoon, processions, jokes and choreographic groups will focus on Cavite Heroes Square, the starting point of the Grand Carnival Parade which starts at 18.00 hours and make your journey through the Main Street Plaza San Sebastian, Murcia doors, Carmen, Carlos III, Ronda, San Juan, Ã ngel Bruna and Paseo Alfonso XIII up to the Pavilion Jiménez de la Espada.
Besides the parade, also held the traditional Carnival balls, one at 21.30 hours in the Plaza de San Sebastian, with a performance by an orchestra, and another at 22.00 am in the Pavilion to the arrival of the parade .
On Sunday 6 March, the smallest place in the Carnaval Infantil Juan XXIII, from 11 in the morning, makeup workshops and balloons carnival, entertainment, costume contest and activities of jokes, again in Icue plazas and San Sebastian.
