ANDRA S GUERRERO ‰ SÃ nchez (1958)
'I was born in a village in Extremadura, in the bosom of a family who loved books and a grandmother who read stories while preparing coffee.
Both services still remain in me.
I love books, coffee, illustrations and, above all, be a cartoonist.
Becoming an illustrator or writer seem to me that decisions are not taken, just happen.
Be an author or illustrator is a circumstance that did not choose, at least in my case, as it was inevitable.
Some of my earliest childhood memories are linked to literature, not only books but also the stories that I had at home.
Possibly, those stories made up in my curiosity about the books, and this led me to discover books that I still could not read were illustrated with wonderful drawings.
Then, over the years, I could choose the school where I studied, the clothes he wore, where I live and some of the jobs I've had ... but never chose to be an illustrator and, especially, being an author.
Is art, literature, illustration-the one you choose.
You, as an outsider, accompanying live your own books, your own stories and their own drawings.
Them and live with them and, inevitably, you live for them.
Especially for those who have not yet written, for those anxious waiting on a table, which at first are just a bunch of pages, that you are filled with sketches, notes and memos.
For them live. "
THE SLOW SNAIL
This should have a snail "to tell the story of the snail slow, but has not yet arrived.
Who did appear was a speedy little mouse, looking for a hole to hide.
Also a beautiful green worm and a worm living under the grass.
Ana and Andres Guerrero have been created, four hands, four titles with simple illustrations (Two bears large, cold Dragon, a white dog and the snail slow), but plenty of winks to attract the attention of the early readers.
Four books full of good humor and tenderness, which combine two types of letters (lowercase and uppercase) to differentiate the narrative of dialogue.
OTOÃ'O a giraffe
A giraffe learns that one of his spots like a leaf and, to escape a lion, all spots will fall from the body.
Embarrassed, he leaves his companions and finds other animals: a pink hippo, a flying elephant ...
to learn that no matter the end being different from others.
