Cartagena Local Police in their fight against illegal hawking, made during last February about a dozen seizures between the different markets of the municipality and the street.

These interventions have resulted in a total of 581 DVDs, 407 CDs, as well as 39 shirts, two sweaters and 34 pants.

In the operation have also seized numerous items of jewelry, necklaces and bracelets, as well as perishable goods such as oranges, lemons and vegetables that are sold without any license.

Street trading is governed by the provisions of Municipal Ordinance which regulates the activity was carried out of permanent shops and specifying where, when, how to make the sale and what products are allowed.
