The City of Cartagena, through the Municipal Institute of Social Services (IMSS), will participate this coming weekend at the Fair IV Entreculturas, living for the integration of immigrants and development cooperation in the Region of Murcia, which develop between 4 and 6 March at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of IFEPA in Torre Pacheco.

At the booth of Social Services will present the various projects being undertaken in the field of multiculturalism and integration of immigrants.

Through panels and brochures will be announced some of the performances of 2010 as the project Creating living spaces.

Also shown that work activities in neighboring groups and immigrants in neighborhoods like St. Anton, Jose Maria de la Puerta, Barrio de la Concepción, Los Dolores and La Palma.

The activities that students develop intercultural centers of children also have a major presence at the fair, such as images showing the time they shared with the players of FC Cartagena during the past 2010.

Also show what these other actions such as the Open School, developed by the Department of Education, or the Manual and Practical Guide to education.

From the department of development cooperation and will provide important volunteer projects like the Fire in ACTIONS or the Marist Brothers.

For three days this IV Entreculturas Fair, organized by the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Migration in the Autonomous Community, will be a real ray of everything that happens around this situation, both economically, socially and institutional.

A total of 80 exhibitors from companies, institutions, consular delegations, federations, associations and NGOs involved in promoting social integration and reporting products and related services to immigrants.

Parallel to the exhibition, will be held presentations, lectures and round tables dealing with the current situation of this group and develop an exciting schedule of activities that will make the call more attractive.

During the three days of development of the fair attendees can enjoy tastings, workshops and performances and folk music.

ENTRECULTURAS 2011 will take place from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th March, open all day from 11.00 to 20.30. The fair admission and parking is free.
