The Local Government Committee this morning approved a proposal by the Councillor for Education, Joseph Marotta, the call for the admission of children in municipal nurseries dependent of the City of Cartagena for the school year 2011-2012, which will be similar to previous years.
Thus the term will open on April 1 for submission of applications for transfers, renewals and new entry plaza.
Applications are made through the internet at the website of the City ( www.cartagena.es ), which fills the appropriate form, which is then delivered to the Nursery School as a first option selected, along with all required documentation.
It is envisaged that 314 seats are covered with children currently enrolled and will continue the next school year.
There is also a forecast of 454 seats remain available, and that children enrolled in this school year will leave the nursery school age to meet to go to college and these positions are the children who will occupy the newly admitted request .
The age to apply for a place in a municipal nursery school is 4 months to 3 years, ie, children born January 2009 to April 2011.
Regarding the criteria for admission, scored the employment status of parents, income per capita income, and other situations such as large families and disabled.
The deadlines for applications are:
1 to April 7, 2011 for transfer requests. From 1 to April 14, 2011 for renewal applications plaza. From 1 to April 29, 2011 for incoming requests.
Keep in mind that 15 to April 25 infant schools will be closed for Easter school holidays.
Therefore, parents or guardians may submit an application, the City Council website, but may conclude that giving the copy application and required documentation in Kindergarten in the holiday period.
