Reinforce the local police during the carnival festivities, from 26 February to 8 March, surveillance and security services in the areas where events occur.
A total of 67 agents and 4 ply ensure the safety of the city and the success of the various parades and events scheduled to take place over the eleven-day of the Festival Carnival.
The actions of the local police for festive day will focus on strengthening controls on alcohol and public security, monitor and expand peddling prostitution controls, especially in the Old Town streets, in order to get to enjoy a period holiday quiet and uneventful.
Control agents monitor the opening hours of establishments and monitor the sale of alcohol to minors in public.
In addition, be responsible for traffic control to control vehicle access during the course of the parades.
Also, during this weekend the local police expand surveillance due to the arrival of 14 ships from NATO to fill some 3,000 marine facilities and the streets of the city.
