Cartagena City Council has carried out various services to improve urban public lighting in the Barrio Cuatro Santos.
The work has involved the installation of a total of 17 points of light of 150 woltem mounted on metal posts of 8 feet high, all linked to existing facilities.
The streets of the District Four Saints that have these new facilities are Vigo Street, calle Fernando Poo, street Guadalajara Guipuzcoa street, street and street Rio Muni Coruña.
This action is part of Investment Plan 2010-2011 and the budget that has been already spent 50,000 euros.
In Garden City, the City Council has also installed new lighting, specifically five columns of 8 feet high with lights and equipment of 150 watts, connected to the existing installation.
The work has been done in the area of the street between Ricardo Codorniú Baldasano Admiral Street and Trafalgar Street also has renewed the potable water network, flooring and plywood.
The amount of these actions in Garden City has risen to 99,000 euros, which added to the above action are 154,000 euros financed by the Investment Plan 2010-2011, as reported by the Councillor of neighborhoods in the area, María José Roca.
