Local police, in collaboration with the Department of Safety and Social Services of the City of Cartagena, will provide a security conference aimed at the elderly.
The talk will take place on February 22 at 10.30 hours at the offices of the Security Park.
About 190 elderly people belonging to the Senior Volunteer Association, will attend this conference which is part of the program protect our seniors, of the Judicial Protection of Victims (SJPV) of the Local Police.
The head of this Section will be responsible for instructing them on how to avoid becoming victims of crime.
The purpose of this activity is to educate seniors about the measures they should take to protect themselves.
After the conference, who so wish may participate in a visit to the Security Park to learn about the work of the police among citizens.
