Outreach program to Elite Sports (ADE) organized by the Department of Sports City of Cartagena continues to develop its activities for the 2010-2011 school year.
On this occasion the students of Public School St. Francis Xavier in The barriers had the opportunity to spend the day on Thursday February 10 with the players of UCAM-Floymape Cartagena de Tenis de Mesa.
Schoolchildren learn about the athletes, Cantero, Didi, Wang and club sporting director, Jose Antonio Montalbán, sharing with them all kinds of experiences.
The morning started practicing a few short exercises and games of tennis specialty, with emphasis on learning technical and tactical content.
Then had a period of time to ask questions and know more about early stages of their professional lives.
The day was completed with a multitude of mini-games involving all students and teachers at the school.
In the end they made the delivery of gifts by the Department of Sports and Club Cartagena Floymape UCAM-Learning Centre and of course the subsequent signing autographs for the participants.
Again, the ADE program activity was the delight of these young people, who for more than two hours came to this emerging sport. The ADE (Close to Elite Sports) is organized by the Department of Sports City of Cartagena and has the support of the Directorate General of Sports of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, College of Graduate Studies in Physical Education and Physical Activity and Sport in the region of Murcia and Cartagena Club Sport for All.
