In the complaint filed by Citizens Movement in which it is stated that the City is plundering the archaeological remains of the winch, through the implementation of the Archaeological Park project, the government team strongly denies this and explains the following:
The archaeological park project windlass has been approved by the City of Cartagena after receiving a favorable report from the Directorate General of Culture of the Autonomous Community.
This project is being implemented under the direction and supervision of a team of archaeologists and restorers expressly authorized by the Directorate General of Culture.
Jobs are also inspected by archaeologists of the Ministry of Culture to permanently visit the area and monitor their progress.
This morning these archaeologists have visited the site of the windlass, confirming the adequacy of what has already acted.
The recovery and enhancement of archaeological remains existing there, and not its plunder is the main objective of the project, which no doubt will enjoy the Cartagena soon and tourists.
