The trial court Cartagena number 5 has ordered the dismissal of the case against the Councillor for Education and Culture, Rosario Montero, and Education Coordinator, Damián Pérez Olmos, for an alleged case of corruption and forgery in the Equipment Service Center for Children, denounced by the mixed group Councillor of the City of Cartagena, Carmen Martínez.
The judge stated in his order that the steps taken, are not prima facie in those accused of such crimes, or any other criminal activity.
The court has thus given the right to defense lawyers, who had requested the case file, and the public prosecutor who believed that there was common ground that the defendants had taken advantage of their status as public officials for personal gain or non-profit foster their involvement in CAI of the equipment Aljorra and therefore shared the argument of the defense and called for the dismissal of the case.
