Alejandro Pérez Professor Shepherd has been appointed editor of water management area of Spanish Journal of Agricultural Research (SJAR), one of the most prestigious journals in agriculture in Spain, published in English.
Spanish Journal of Agricultural reseach is a quarterly magazine published by the National Institute for Agrarian and Alimentary Research (INIA).
It is meant for all scientific and business community interested in research topics in agriculture.
SJAR came in 2006 in the Science Citation Index, and in 2007 in the Journal Citation Reports.
Pérez-Pastor said that the interest in publishing it has increased considerably.
In 2009 it received about 500 articles and in 2010 the figure has increased.
Therefore, from the publisher has raised a profound change in the management of it, and also on the Editorial Board, so we have selected 12 areas with an editor for each of them.
One such area is Water Management which has been entrusted to Alejandro Pérez Pastor.
