Councillor for Youth and Employment, Ruth Collins, delivered this morning the diplomas to the students of Lo Campano, El Algar and El Albujón who have participated in the third edition of Barrios-ADLE program, organized by the Agency of Local Development and Employment the City of Cartagena, in a ceremony at the Ceremonial Hall of the Town Hall.

A total of 24 unemployed have been part of this program which aims to facilitate the participation of unemployed people in the neighborhoods of Cartagena in the training and actively seeking employment to facilitate their insertion into the labor market.

Since last October, have done yard work, painting and masonry in every neighborhood.

In Lo Campano work can be seen in the social and the square where is located.

In The Albujón, with the assistance of the City Neighborhood Council, has rejuvenated the Plaza Mayor, and other smaller places in this town and the Lomas del Albujón.

As for El Algar, small adjustments have been made and it has done in a well Hondo Square in commemoration of their history and won over the Mesta.

Councillor for Youth and Employment, Ruth Collins, stated that this program is a great opportunity to find employment services in the city and access to work and learning some skills and knowledge of the neighborhoods that are very valued by companies in the municipality.

Barrios-ADLE The program is divided into two parts.

For the first part, for targeting active job search, 75 people were enrolled, of whom 69 percent were men, who receive small group of no more than seven people, five modules of two hours on Job search tools: how to prepare the curriculum vitae, job interview skills and training, all from the perspective of the use of new technologies (internet).

The second phase, which lasts two months and is aimed at the practical training in maintenance, the age range of participants was (according to the age ranges used by the SEF): 44.4% lower 25 years, 44.4% from 25 to 44 years and 11.1% over 45 years.
