The City of Cartagena receives the award for "Tourism" for the project submitted in the contest and Municipal Best Practices, convened a month and a half the PP, and rewards excellence in local governance.

Within the program of activities on Saturday 22 January at 13.00 hours, the PP leader, Mariano Rajoy present the awards to the winners of the Project and Municipal Practice, which convened last month and a half game to reward "excellence in local governance of municipalities, and in which there have been 153 projects of various PP consistory.
It will give a total of 20 awards to those of the PP municipalities are implementing initiatives that "are particularly significant for their originality, popular, lowest cost, using innovative techniques, use of renewable energies that promote urban development and general rural "as stated in the contest.
Among the winners, is the city of Cartagena, which will receive the prize "Tourism" for the project "Auditorium and Congress Palace."
"We are very pleased to receive this award for a project that represents one of the most important infrastructure being built in Cartagena. This building completes the circle of quality tourism in our city," said Pilar Barreiro.
The mayor pointed out that the CP seeks to these awards recognize the work and initiative of mayors and councilors and disseminate more widely those projects, plans, implementation of new services being carried out by local governments Popular Party and which are particularly significant.
Remarkably, the Auditorium and Conference Centre is a large infrastructure for culture and tourism, located next to the sea, in an emblematic place in Cartagena is the port.
