The Councillor of Tourism of the City of Cartagena, Javier Herrero, traveled yesterday to Madrid to participate in and attend FITUR Night Q, gala held at the Palco de Honor Santiago Bernabeu stadium in which the Institute for Quality Tourism in Spain Q delivers diplomas quality institutions across the country for its work to promote tourism.
Smith's presence was justified because it would pick up the badge that the ICTE has given the beach of San Ginés, the eleventh that has our town and making it the most awarded in Spain, and picked it up in the hands of the Secretary-General Turismo, Joan Mesquida.
With this recognition Cartagena remains at the head of the Spanish municipalities with the highest number of beaches with the Q for quality.
The award for the beach of San Ginés ago to become a role model as far as management and maintenance of beaches are concerned, making productive our efforts to promote tourism of sun and beach, also complemented with cultural tourism , and archaeological heritage that we enjoy throughout the year, said Javier Herrero.
