The city of Cartagena this year will be very present in FITUR, they announced the Councillor for Tourism, Javier Herrero, who will travel to Madrid with the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, to participate in the fair, held from 19 to 23 January, and clothing with his presence several key moments that take our city as protagonist.
One such moment was to be the presentation of the latest movie à lex of the Church, The Spark of Life, which will roll soon in Cartagena and will have a very special setting, the Roman Theatre, which hits screens around the world by the hand of the filmmaker and director of the Spanish Film Academy.
This is an action which has been supported by all councils and autonomous communities, so that finally, after the events surrounding the person of the Minister of Culture, Pedro Alberto Cruz, has taken the decision to postpone the presentation for later, when Cruz is in a position to attend the meeting.
Meanwhile, the church is gearing up, and precisely along this week, made the casting for extras in the Palacio Molina.
On the other hand, the recognition of the quality of our beaches will be reinforced in the Tourism Fair in delivering the diploma of the Q for quality this year has been awarded to the beach of San Ginés, and that has made our town in Spain's most awarded by the Institute for Quality Tourism.
Delivery will take place during the seventh edition of The Night Q, a gala to be held on January 9th of January at the Palco de Honor at the Santiago Bernabeu chaired by the Secretary General of Tourism, Joan Mesquida.
The other great moment that will be starring in FITUR Cartagena will be held at the launch on Friday of the firm commitment of the city to promote tourism idiomatic initiative that is working through the Foundation for Teaching Cartagena Language and Spanish Culture, which has achieved accreditation by the Instituto Cervantes, offering accredited courses in Spanish for foreigners.
