The Citizen Participation Committee PP met last Friday, January 14, with more than twenty neighbors, supporters, affiliates and representatives neighborhood of Isla Plana, La Azohía and Campillo.
The meeting took place in the Halls of the Restaurant La Isla Plana Chara and attended the council of Decentralization, Nicolás Ángel Bernal, who coordinates the committee, the Councillor of Consumer Affairs, María Dolores García Nieto and the presidents of the Neighborhood Councils and Mills Perín Marfagones, Pedro Gallego and Diego Ortega.
Among the topics discussed, residents expressed their satisfaction with the various works and actions taken during this term by the municipal government of the PP, as the Primary Care Clinic and local over Isla Plana, and the construction of the sewage plant Island Plan-The Azohía.
However, the main theme of the meeting was the situation faced by the members of the Popular Party in Isla Plana Neighborhood Board, governed by the PSOE.
The members claimed that the socialist President informs the Board that manages budgets, nor have they explained why there have been years where the budget is not exhausted having neighborhood needs and requests.
They have also criticized, which gives them the previous minutes and agenda of meetings start five minutes before the conclusion of the plenary sessions.
Councilman Nicholas Angel Bernal said that "the committee of citizen participation is scheduled to tour the entire municipality by these meetings and know, firsthand, the needs presented by the residents of our city, our neighborhoods and our deputies."
