The doors of the church of the Barrio de San Antón will be filled on Monday January 17 people to celebrate the traditional baptism of animals every year event closes the festivities in the neighborhood.
The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, accompanied by other members of the Municipal Corporation, will participate from 12 noon in the activities organized during this festive event, which begins with a Mass in honor of the saint, the delivery of equestrian exhibition trophies and the blessing of the animals.
Dogs, canaries, cats and even turtles receive the holy water, while their owners savored squid and other delicacies on the bars installed on the occasion of the celebration on the main streets of the neighborhood.
