The councilors of Greater Culture and Education of the City of Cartagena, and Josefa Montero Rosario Maroto, this morning visited the works of the Center for Child Care (ISC) which is being built on a plot of the complex municipal Mediterranean.
The center will have places for 200 children, a capacity that exceeds that of the ISC is currently open in the municipality.
Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, has reported that the works are being developed on schedule and the first phase will be completed in March.
Montero also noted that, ultimately, only occupy a part of the larger parcel on which is located downtown.
Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, explained that after the end of the two phases will proceed to burcocráticos procedures for opening the center that will serve the entire catchment area that includes the Mediterranean Construction, New Cartagena and San Antonio.
The location of the Mediterranean Urbanization CAI was amended at the request of neighbors and their current location, 600 meters from appearing in the initial project is specifically between the streets Picos de Europa and Sierra de Ronda, opposite Evangelical Church.
