The PP government team, after years of failures, plans to start building a new school in the Aljorra, if the budget permits this year as promised by city leaders and regional PP.
The area chosen by the government team to carry out the new facility is located near the exhibition center of the festivities of the Aljorra.
This plot is in the runoff area of the Rambla del Pericón and floods every time it rains with intensity.
SPCT recalled that residents of the Plaza of the Aljorra Moreno, whose homes are located in the same course 100 meters below, have repeatedly denounced the flooding in that area, what they have created many problems in their own homes.
SPCT not understand how the PP government team may grant building permits in an area flooded clearly, as stated in the plans of the Segura basin.
Either do not understand how you can extend the PERI of Aljorra PGOU future, regardless of this fact and of course a clear example of political irresponsibility, as you can build a new school in a flood zone.
Given this decision, SPCT requires the government team to change the location of the new school of Aljorra and make the necessary redirection works to solve the problem of flooding in that area and the residential neighbors of the Plaza La Cañada Moreno de la Aljorra.
Finally indicate that SPCT requested on 5 January the Planning record by authorizing the construction of 23 duplex in the Plaza Moreno in a flood zone, to verify if the license was granted properly.
