The Minister of Public Works and Planning, José Ballesta, together with the mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, now put the first stone for the construction of a new group Public Housing Promotion (PPV) in Cartagena deputation La Palma, supported by the Institute for Housing and Land in the Region (IVS) and the central administration.
"The houses are rented for those families most in need of Murcia. The goal is to provide a decent home for those citizens with fewer resources and also facilitate their full social integration," said José Ballesta.
"The social commitment in housing with Murcia, reflected through the Regional Housing Plan, the region ranks as the second Spanish community driving new social housing developments," said the counselor, who explained that "in this sense , the latest agreements reached include the construction of 19 new homes in the municipalities of Cartagena and Mazarrón Archena. "

The performance has funding of 431,995 euros from the regional government.
Greater social
These works are part of the actions undertaken by the Institute for Housing and Land in the Region and which are currently running 44-VPP works in Murcia, Caravaca de la Cruz, Moratalla, Calasparra and Mazarrón.
"The VPP line are greater social investment in subsidized housing, as they aim to citizens of the region with fewer resources to improve their quality of life," concluded Jose Ballesta.
