Local police officers arrested in the early hours of last Wednesday to an individual who, in company with another, driving in the direction prohibited by the Fish Street to the Plaza of the island aboard a stolen car.

Noticing the police presence, first tried to flee in the vehicle at high speed but there is no possible exit lane, decided to continue on foot running toward the Santa Lucia and Los Mateos.

Agents contacted with other service units to communicate the physical characteristics and clothing of both individuals and, finally, able to find one of them in the top of The Matthew, which, once arrested, the self-harm detention cell of the police produced contusions of which had to be treated at the Medical Center Our Lady of Charity.

As for the stolen vehicle, whose owner had found that home in La Coruña, police officers found the left front door forced the bowler broken lock with a screwdriver that was found inside the car, on the ground seat companion.
