Two serious accidents with one fatality and one injury is very serious balance last weekend in the city streets of Cartagena, as reported by the service packed with the local police.
The first accident occurred on Christmas Eve, about noon, when a motorcyclist, 40 years old, traveling on the street Bruna Angel went off the road to join the space Severo Ochoa and collided with a lamppost .
Troops of the UME of 112 tried to resuscitate him but he died while being transferred to the Hospital del Rosell.
The second accident occurred about a quarter to four pm on December 25.
A 47 year old man driving a moped, crashed into a curb and fell, hitting his head.
The incident took place at the junction of the Avenida Reina Victoria Street Bruna à ngel.
The man was immediately taken by ambulance to the Arrixaca of Murcia, very grave prognosis.
Local police sources have described this weekend as moved, and also had to intervene in 13 minor accidents and 10 drivers were reported to the police courts before for driving with high rates of alcohol.

The same sources pointed out the campaign these days is conducting the local police to prevent driving under the influence of alcohol, especially at this time in increasing their consumption.
