The courtyard of the Administration Building in San Miguel continues to welcome donations of toys from various groups, organizations and individual citizens associations within the campaign A Illusions Mountain with which it is intended that children from families in economic hardship to enjoy this year Christmas.
The Department of Social Services, which together with the Youth and Celebrations, and the Local Youth Council promoting this campaign has been very pleased with the progress of the grants, which are expected to meet the expectations and day 30 December, 1500 will close with toys.
As explained by the councilman of Social Care, Antonio Calderon, that is the number of toys requested by some 22 associations in the municipality with children with limited resources and that they will get from 3 January.
At the moment is the collection and volunteers have begun to sort toys by age and sex.
The donations already made by Carrefour, local police, firefighters, city officials, TELECARTAGENA, clubs and institutions of higher social action, will join the Regional Assembly this afternoon.
