The Civil Guard has carried out the arrest of two persons suspected of committing a burglary within a facility located in Cartagena.
The alleged perpetrators were caught when driving a boom truck automotive equipment stolen from a business, managing to recover all the stolen effects valued at more than 18,000 euros.
This action is framed in the "Crime Prevention Plan in the Campo de Cartagena", the Guardia Civil de Murcia has enabled to detect and eradicate any related criminal activity against property in this region.
The events began when Civil Guard officers were on duty public safety and were required for an alleged theft in a company of Cartagena.
The first information received was that the occupants of a truck crane pen had forced access to the facilities of an enterprise of Cartagena and the crane had been removed using a lot of automotive material, flight undertaken after obtaining the loot.
Moments later the agents were able to locate the vehicle in flight, initiating follow up and telling his driver to stop, making it ignored the instructions of the agents and continuing its flight.
Finally, the agents managed to make it stop checking the vehicle as it was loaded with stolen effects on the company, making the arrest and subsequent remand in custody of the two occupants.
Detainee:
This action has proceeded to the arrest of two persons suspected of the crime of burglary:
- Spanish, 33 years old and resident of San Javier.
- Spanish, 26-year-old neighbor of Cartagena.
The detainees have a history of committing criminal acts before.
Effects stolen and recovered:
Material for four complete sets of transmission of heavy vehicles (axles, loops, wheels, traction and suspension system).
The recovered material is valued at more than 18,000 euros and after being brought to justice will be returned to its rightful owner.
The detainees, the police had recovered educated and effects have been made available to the Magistrate's Court Number One of Cartagena (Murcia).
