For the third consecutive year, students of first and second cycle of secondary education Elcano Institute, made the Romans a Living Nativity headed for a very special small Childhood Education College of Our Lady of Begoņa.
In the courtyard of the center was mounted a large birth of the flesh, with typical characters and places.
Were the laundresses, butchers, cheese post, scrap merchants, cobblers, the pastor with the donkey and the bundle of firewood, the Romans, seamstresses, the water carrier, selling eggs and chickens, etc..
New this year the Maple Project (Project group of schools) participated with a stand of Our Region, with typical products of our land and two children with typical costumes of Cartagena and Murcia.
You recreated various scenes, such as St. Joseph and the Virgin mounted on donkey through the Inn, to the admiration of the children singing carols with the pastors before the Portal.
Later in the Hall, could see the whole Birth, with the newborn Jesus, accompanied by shepherds with lambs, hay and angels that preceded the angel announcing the Good News.
Finally, back in the courtyard, the three wise men arrived on horseback who, after greeting and listen to the children, left to worship the Christ Child.
The Youth Council, through the IDEAS program, expressed his appreciation to the IES Elcano about this initiative that makes young students to take responsibility and participate in an activity aimed at its small neighbors of the Virgin of Begoņa.
The culmination of the Christmas activities will take place on Wednesday 22 at 12:30 pm in the Church of Santo Domingo with the school choir performance.
