Doctor Luis Calandre Street opened yesterday to vehicular traffic and pedestrians after the completion of the refurbishment.
The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, the Minister of Presidency, Pedro María Reverte, and Council Member of Infrastructure, José Vicente Albaladejo, visited the stretch before its opening and asked the public to take care of not only this but all routes and spaces city of Cartagena.

THE PROJECT IN TWO PHASES

Work began in February 2010 and developed in two phases.
The first, which ended in June, was conducted in the area between Francisco de Borja and Sebastian Feringa and the second from the Bridge and the street Cartagonova Doctor Marañón.
