Councilman Sports this morning's classic Christmas event that will have a range of 5 kilometers to the highest and 1 mile for children categories, and go 1 euro for each entry to the Spanish Association Against Cancer
The popular street race San Silvestre 2010 will be held on Sunday 26 December.
Councillor for Sports, Alonso Gómez López, accompanied by the President of the local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in Cartagena, María Rosa Rosillo, and the Chairman of Multimedia Truth, Marble Gregorio, have been responsible to explain this morning at the Palace Hall the details of the classic Christmas event.
Councilman Sports has highlighted the success of participation in this event so far has seen an increasing number of brokers faithful to the event and each edition breaks attendance records.
The San Silvestre's not just the best way to practice a healthy habit in the midst of this era of excesses of Christmas, but also a solidarity contribution to a good cause, as one euro from each registration will go to the Spanish Association Against Cancer ( AECC).
Over one hundred people including volunteers, medical and security personnel, working that day to ensure the success of the traditional Christmas event held the last Sunday of the year and through the main streets of the city.
TOUR 2010 SAN SILVESTRE
The race, organized by the Department of Sport, has two varieties of courses, 5 miles to the major categories s, and 1 kilometer to the youngest categories, juvenile and child.
Also involves other categories such as physically handicapped, and canicross handbike.
Child Riders will depart at 10.15 hours Ramón Alonso Cultural Center Luzzy and arrive at the Municipal Athletic Track.
Younger students may have the incentive of the trophies and gifts that will distribute the company Mc Donald's to all who reach the goal.
The other runners, which is expected to exceed the success of participation of other issues, will leave at 11.15 pm on Paseo Alfonso XII, and roam the streets Paseo Alfonso XII, Fish, Real, Castellini, Puertas de Murcia, Carmen, Plaza Spain, Alameda de San Antón, Jorge Juan, Ronda Union City, Jacinto Benavente, Queen Victoria, Ribera de San Javier, Avenida de Murcia, Ronda Ferrol, reaching the goal in the athletics track.
AWARDS
On arrival at the target, all participants will provide an aid station and will be presented with a commemorative t test.
In addition, various prizes will be awarded the trophies awarded by the Department of Sports to the top 3 finishers in each category, the trophies Truth to the first three riders Cartagena; trophy AECC to older riders, and special prizes the trophies to the 3 runners who complete the course with the most original costume.
The registration period will be open from 9 to 23 December (until 14.00 hours), the price of 11 euros for the major categories and 2 euros for the youngest categories, juvenile and child.
