The Virtual Reality Centre Youth Youth Council of Cartagena echoes the recent study by the Fundación Santa María, Spanish Youth 2010.
This is an investigation of population aged between 15 and 24, which shows their values and perceptions of politics, entertainment, consumer, family, religion, media and immigration.
Among the findings may be noted that t he family, health, friends and acquaintances are part of what is considered very important.
Politics and religion occupy the last positions in the tail of youth interests.
More than half the distance feels about politics, 56.5% say it has nothing to do with me, does not affect my private life.
MAIN CONCERNS
The list of concerns is headed by the unemployed (86%), followed by racism and xenophobia (76%), youth violence (72%), lack of future (70%) and quality of employment (70%).
Note that the 46'3% do not trust a promising future for them.
The family empowerment is part of the projects that young people want to reach around 27 years, but to marry between 31 and 34 and live together with their partner previously.
The survey also reveals that having children is in your marital expectations, although the medium term, and loyalty will matter much.
With regard to leisure, it is noted that decreases the proportion of young people considered to bottle and drink alcohol as something quite or very important when it comes out.
Of 31.5% in 2004 is passed to 26'8% today.
GÃ ‰ NERO DIFFERENCES
In their practices gender differences were found, fulfilling stereotypes like girls more than boys shopping, 81 and 62% respectively.
They, too, read more: 64% of the boys says reader compared to 75% of readers.
By contrast, more men who use the computer and electronic games, 80% of men down to 60% when women answer.
