The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, today held a meeting in his office of the Town Hall with President of the International Film Festival of Cartagena, Jose Cabezas, Exhibition Director, Esther Baeza, and one of the curators of the exhibition of films not tell me about movies, Francisco Solana.
Precisely the success of this exhibition, which opened on 2 December and can be visited at the Cultural Hall of Cajamurcia until 7 January next year, which portends a good year for the Festival, which kicks off Sunday with the premiere of Canadian film Fire, and closed the day 18 with the awards ceremony.
According to Baeza, the mayor has been very interested in everything about the festival, which also have exposed what we have done in the last two editions and what we want in the coming years.
The aim is to attract young audiences, giving good films free, and prepare a special event for next year, the festival will celebrate its fortieth anniversary.
