It is important that sport serves to push through social actions, the union of society and sport for a good cause, with these words had the Councillor for Sports, Alonso Gomez, ananda Charity Calendar 2011, which has presentation been accompanied by the president of ananda (Association of Parents of Children with Auditory Deficits), Dolores Sánchez, and Cristina Bu Still, in representation of Futbol Club Cartagena, whose players have selflessly participated in this action.
The calendar contains a collection of photos of players with the children of the Association.
1,000 copies have been printed to be sold at a modest price, 3 euros, at the headquarters of ananda and the Cartagena FC shop. Furthermore, it is expected that during the bridge, although the date is still undetermined, installed tables in the Mediterranean area where they will sign and sell copies, counting with the presence of players from Cartagena.
The financial resources obtained through the sale of these calendars will be allocated entirely to the rehabilitation of deaf children in Cartagena and district, about 70 children it serves through its ananda Rehabilitation Center Prince of Asturias, with all kinds of treatments, speech therapy, psychotherapy, psychomotor, and also support families of these children.
