Gunpowder return tonight to the campus of Alfonso XIII.
Students and faculty of the School of Civil Engineering and Mines UPCT held today and tomorrow the feast of Santa Barbara with academic and cultural activities.
This afternoon at 20:30, academic ceremony will take place in the Center Hall.
The event will present awards to the best final projects, awarded by the Association of Mining Engineers of Cartagena.
The winners were Javier Poveda Seller, the specialty of Mining and Moreira Marcos Giménez, specialty of Energy, Fuels and Explosives.
The fireworks in honor of Santa Barbara will take place at nine o'clock at night.
Tomorrow, Thursday, at 9:45 pm, depart from the traditional mining train station FEVE to La Union.
This year, students will visit the Parque Minero.
The path will end with a meal between teachers and students in a well-known hospitality of La Union.
