Pilar Barreiro will be on Thursday in the Madrid suburb to receive the award from the mayor Bartolome Gonzalez, on the day of Alcalá de Henares is celebrating its twelfth anniversary as World Heritage City
The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, gather on Thursday 2 December, the prize awarded by the World Heritage town of Alcala de Henares Madrid to Cartagena for its efforts to recover the historical legacy and its integration into the urban fabric.
This event will take place at 19.00 am in the hall of the municipality of Alcala de Henares, will be attended by the mayor Bartolome Gonzalez, and CEO of Culture of the Community of Madrid, José Luis Martínez- Almeida.
The presentation of this award is held, moreover, the same day as the Madrid suburb commemorates the twelfth anniversary since being named a UNESCO World Heritage City.
