The Ministry of Finance through the Integra Foundation, along with the city of Cartagena, presented on Thursday 2 December, the digital animation feature documentary Carthage, which will be screened at 20.00 hours in the Nuevo Teatro Circo , free entrance until full capacity.
In the city of Carthago Nova, first century AD, life goes on peacefully for Albino prosperous family until his path crosses the powerful and greedy Lucio Andro.
This is the starting point of the documentary that, through this plot and the characters of fiction, takes the viewer to the past and to discover one of the major cities of Hispania.
The latest digital techniques have enabled from the archaeological remains found in Cartagena, the faithful reconstruction of the entire city of Carthago Nova and topography of their environment 2,000 years ago.
In addition, we have included thousands of animated characters that recreate the atmosphere of a Roman city itself.
The founding of the city by the Carthaginians, later conquered by the Romans and their enormous splendor reflected in such magnificent scenery as its port, forum, theater or amphitheater, Carthago Nova make a work of great educational value and informative to understand the valuable Roman legacy treasured by the city of Cartagena.
