Researchers from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena 150 students show that it is possible to create technology-based companies, and they will on Tuesday 30 November at the IV Conference on Business Opportunities University, the result of the collaboration between the Bancaja Young Entrepreneurs-UPCT The Agency for Local Development and Employment of the City of Cartagena and the Instituto de Fomento Region de Murcia.
This is first-rate researchers and different branches will present their own example in the process of creating a company with a technology component.
The conference will open at 16.00 am in the Hall of degrees of the Faculty of Sciences of the Company, at a ceremony will be attended by the Councillor for Youth and Employment, Ruth Collins, the director of the department of Competitiveness Innovation Development Institute of the Region of Murcia, Javier Celdran, and office manager Bancaja in Cartagena, Antonio Garcia.
This is the fourth day which is organized with the aim that professionals and researchers to communicate to society what possible business opportunities may arise and have arisen from the groups and research results.
TEACHING THROUGH THE EXAMPLE S ‰
While the three previous days showed results of research and business opportunities there as a possibility, in this quarter will be taught exclusively real examples of research groups with PhD students or recent graduates are putting up a business technological base (EBT).
During the day you can see how experience is being put into operation a technology company by five researchers of recognized standing with their respective teams of collaborators.
It addresses technological and varied sectors such as ICT to University Professor Fernando Cerdan, electronic technology, the professor of the UPCT Francisco Ruz, Professor of Crop Jesus Ochoa will have their experience and their collaborators in sustainable landscapes, Professor of Alain Baille UPCT explain its remote sensing satellite project and the group of collaborators Alejandro Pérez Pastor "talk about their idea for the treaty and winemaking.
