Over a hundred experts will come together tomorrow, Thursday, at the School of Agricultural Engineering at the "Workshop on Agricultural Valuation."
The event is a gathering of scientists and professionals involved with the assessment in all areas.
The event brings together renowned researchers from different Spanish universities and professional schools and students of universities and the Polytechnic University Miguel Hernández de Cartagena.
The purpose of the meeting twice, by hand, to pay homage to two researchers and teachers of farmland appraisal deceased, and contribute, on the other hand, the tribute to Miguel Hernandez for its centennial, according to the organizer, Maria Dolores de Miguel, Professor Economics, Sociology and Agricultural Policy.
The land valuation is one of the skills of agronomists and agricultural technicians engineers.
The importance of assessing land for its many and varied applications, will be analyzed from more traditional inputs, closely related to agriculture, to current applications, related to the environment, water, or the valuation of attributes of goods food and agriculture, among others, as M ª Dolores de Miguel.
The conference will begin tomorrow at the School of Agricultural Engineering UPCT and end on Friday at the School of Agronomy of the University Miguel Hernandez in Orihuela.
Participants will learn topics such as the interaction of the economic system and the natural environment, the new SPM method, or the development of the Land Law.
Also participating in workshops cadastral valuation of the trees, the use of AHP analysis and a round table will discuss the role of the professional valuation.
Participants will travel on Friday to Orihuela, which holds the second day of the event and will visit the cultural heritage assessment of Miguel Hernández, among other topics.
The inauguration will be borne by Aldolfo Falagan Prieto, director general of Livestock and Fisheries, the Ministry of Agriculture and Water in the Region of Murcia.
