Fifty of counselors and teachers from different schools in the region will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, in the UPCT to learn about new tools related to Information Technology and Communication (ICT) and emotional intelligence used in the classroom improve educational outcomes for students.
The Vice President for Student and University Extension has organized orientation sessions IV in order to show the technical education professionals to improve care and student learning through digital tools.
The day began with a presentation by Isabel Esparza, a professor of Galileo IESO Pozo Estrecho, will present the results of the ICT project and emotional intelligence developed in that school in the academic year 2009/2010.
Self-control will be the subject of the second paper, to present the head of the Training area of DIPEA (Design and Innovation for Teaching and Learning), Nestor Jorge Giuliodoro.
This specialist will address the factors that hinder the learning process.
Then Giuliodoro present the latest ICT tools that can be used in the classroom to bring the emotional expression, reduce conflict and foster the process of student learning.
Maria Laura Rosa, instructor of Chi Kung Wushi School, will present a paper on the harmonious expression of emotion, that is, emotional intelligence techniques that promote learning.
The latest intervention, which will be borne by Giulodoro, will focus on conflict management.
Participants in these workshops teach in BA, ESO (Obligatory Secondary Education) and training cycles.
The conference will take place in the Hall of Degrees in the Faculty of Sciences of the Company, located in the CIM (Calle Real, 3), in the morning.
