The Municipal Office of Volunteer Program of the Department of Social Services has convened a Basic Course for Volunteers 22 and 23 November.
The course will develop 17 to 20 hours in the hall of the Faculty of Sciences of the Company, divided into three modules:
On 22 November, will provide an introduction to volunteering, explaining what being a volunteer and methodology for voluntary action.
On November 23 he will talk about volunteering in the care of vulnerable groups, with the formation of information desks in the various fields of volunteering among pupils.
This course helps the Bureau of Immigration and Volunteers of the autonomous community of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
Later there will be a third module consists of an internship of at least ten hours. To do so, after finishing the course will be scheduled with each student joining one or more voluntary organizations, in order that known in situ voluntary actions that are performed in different entities.
Students at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena can get a credit for their course by presenting a report on Student Services and University Extension, before December 1, 2009.
