The presidential candidate of the Autonomous Region for PSRM, Begoña García Retegui, today congratulated all veterans socialist militants in Cartagena, an act that ends with the celebration of the centenary of the PSOE in Cartagena.
"Today is a day to honor these men and women and to remember our hundred years of history."
Retegui highlighted the efforts and commitment of a lifetime of these socialists and encouragement to continue working towards the Government of the Region in May 2011.
"Being a socialist is never easy, especially in times when there have been important changes in society. Therefore, today more than ever we must work towards the transformation that the region needs."

Garcia stressed that the militants Retegui major "are those who have maintained the values and ideas and why they deserve this recognition and we continue to count on them and their experience back to back as mayor of Cartagena and the President of the Region .
The Socialist candidate had a very special and loving companions for dead cartageneras Juaneda and Blanca Rosa Roldán, and to all the honorees who for health reasons could not be present at the ceremony held this morning.
