The time young people spend watching television is excessive.
The Virtual Reality Centre Youth Youth Council of the City of Cartagena, stated in its Section for External Studies, the Ombudsman's Report P ROGRAMMING and content of television and the internet: the view on the protection of minors of their rights.

Finally, after the presentation of results, we recommend some guidelines that can help protect the rights of youth and childhood, compared with television content and Internet services.
Of the recommendations can be found among others that are included in the curriculum, curriculum content to promote the proper use and critical to the media.
It is also advised that audiovisual media service providers contribute to cooperate with the educational system and to promote the formation of children and young people transmitting the content, messages and values for this.
With regard to parental control over what their children watch on television and the internet, it is suggested that the competent authorities on audiovisual training and information dissemination campaigns to raise awareness and promote the use of existing media.
