The painting exhibition "Miguel Hernández natural light, formed by a score of works by painter Manuel Zaplana Cartagena, was closed yesterday afternoon at the Student House in the presence of Vice President for Student and University Extension, Francisco Martínez González, the author sample, the Cultural Foundation representative Miguel Hernández, Aitor Larrabide and the head of the Student House, Diego Ortega.
More than 3,000 students have been able to see this exhibition, which includes several portraits of Miguel Hernández-child, in prison in Alicante where he died or writing poetry, as well as portraits of those who dedicated his work as Ramon Sijé or poets who shared passion for the poetry of Miguel Hernandez as Federico García Lorca, Vicente Aleixandre, María Zambrano, Pablo Neruda, Carmen Conde and Antonio Oliver.
The sample was developed to coincide with the centenary of the birth of the poet Orihuela and the same has worked Miguel Hernández Cultural Foundation, which is based in Orihuela.
