Museum Tuesdays this fall, organized by the Municipal Archaeological Museum Enrique Escudero de Castro, this week kicked off with the Cycle Cosmomitos and Herodias, current views of classical mythology, with a great reception from the audience, more than 80 attendees, consisting mainly by professionals and people interested in the subject.
Professor Encarna Constán Piqueras, was responsible for opening the series with the conference's posterity Greco-Roman myths and their presence in everyday life.
Piqueras did in the first part of his exhibition a tour of the mythology in various stages of history and continued influence of Mythology and its expression in the various manifestations of life: the vocabulary, science, painting, literature, film, music, painting, etc.
His presentation was accompanied by illustrative pictures and sounds to support the speech.
