The Minister of Justice and Public Safety, Manuel Campos, said that reform of the Coordination Act will allow local police to obtain "significant achievements" in terms of security, since agents operate in a "more consistent and coordinated" after setting a protocols and common signs of identity.
This was stated today in Cartagena during his lecture on the Law of Coordination of local police, provided in the Security Park Local Police Cartagena.
Campos said that the amendment of that law may be a "future project for the regional local police, which maintain municipal autonomy but with a distinctly regional."
In his speech, the Minister of Justice and Public Safety also explained the current status of the transfers of Justice in the Region and the organization of the Ministry.
