The Minister of Justice and Public Safety, Manuel Campos, has offered this morning in a conference key to future policing model in the Region of Murcia, and has done in the Security Park Cartagena, with the presence of the Security council Citizen, Javier Herrero, Director of Public Safety, Carlos Nieto, as well as police officers, agents and representatives of local security forces throughout the region.

During his speech, Campos mainly explained how currently the transfer process in justice and referred to the state of the organization of the Ministry of Justice and Public Safety, recently created by the President of the Autonomous Community, Ramón Luis Valcarcel.

The director has given some hints about what may be a future project, the Regional Local Police, which, while maintaining local autonomy can have a strong regional character by taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the reforms of the Law 4 / 1998 of coordination Local Police of the Autonomous Community.

A POLICE AUTON "MICA

The Minister of Justice and Public Safety believes in the possibility that Murcia may have a regional police and, as a prelude to this, added that when you can get, will be improved in all respects to the coordination of agents.

With the amendment of this law, Campos stressed, we get a more uniform and coordinated action with common protocols that allow to advice from the real tasks of coordination.

In short, the Regional Police, explained, is meant to smooth operation and better public services in security.

CITY OF JUSTICE

Under questioning from reporters, Manuel Campos reported that by 2012 the town will have the City of Justice of Cartagena.

The future location of this new facility will be in the Circle of Mandarache, specifically in two hectares of land granted by the City.

The Minister has stressed that this project is a priority of the Government of the Ministry of Justice.
