Local police officers arrested in Cartagena in the early hours of Thursday, November 4, two aged 18 and 17 years old, as suspects in the theft of electric cable in the district of San Felix.
Agents patrolling the area, about a quarter to five, five men crouched observed that, upon noticing their presence, fled the scene on the ground throwing a bunch of cables. After chase, the officers managed to reach one of them and another stop later that he had hidden under a vehicle.
The cable had been extracted from a pit of public lighting and weighed about 12 kilograms.
The two involved were transferred to the Local Police Headquarters where the complaint was handled and the child's parents took care of it.
