Hundreds of people visited Cartagena, on the morning of Saturday, the local police facilities in the Park Safety Open Day held on the occasion of the feast of the patron of the Body, San Leandro.
In this session, visitors could learn about the different areas of the park which has security.
The visit was a tour of the community room of 092, the sections of Public Safety, Traffic, Section Judicial and Social Protection and Research Attestations accidents, Gunsmith area, area for detainees and declarations and a sample of the park police car, where the patrol cars and motorcycles.
Attendees were served by volunteers from the policemen, members of the NGOs involved, responsible for guiding and answer the questions and concerns of the visitors during the tour.
IPA FLAG CEREMONY
The same day also served to formalize the delegation in Cartagena of the IPA (International Police Association).
The motto of this group, which comes under the heading Service for friendship, has 22 agents associated with the city and millions all over the world.
The event was attended by the Councillor for Citizen Security, Javier Herrero, leaders of the national association, the Chief Inspector of Local Police in Cartagena, Manuel Asensio, as well as other partners.
This group aims to host exercise partners visiting Cartagena, as well as organizing courses to improve relations between police around the world.
