Superior Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering has proven winner in the eleventh edition of the Trofeo Rector, 360 athletes participated for students, lecturers and administrative staff and services of the Technical University of Cartagena.

The awards ceremony was held this morning at the Urban Hall in the presence of Vice President for Student and University Extension, Francisco Martínez González, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Josefina García León, and the deputy director of Institutional Relations and School Culture Telecommunications Engineering, José María Molina Garcia Pardo.

The eleventh edition of the Trofeo Rector has played in five different sports: football, 3 basketball, table tennis, chess and paddle.

During the same event also made the trophies for the Tournament X SPD and has given a special mention to the student of Agricultural Jury Leandro Ojeda, who won the gold medal in the Championship of Spain University Taekwondo Championship in the category of -74 kg.
